The 2 Beans Worth: Wow, oh wow, oh wow! Just when you think you've gleaned all you can out of Eve's past, it comes back and bites you! Now imagine how poor Eve feels. Once again she's thrown into a nasty case, and sadly it takes her back to her roots.

As darkly entertaining as ever, Eve and Roarke's trip from New York to Dallas is not to be missed. A word of caution though, this one is not for the squeamish or light of heart. It's a deeply disturbing tale, with at least a few scenes that will make you squirm due to their twistedness.

If you can manage it, then it's definitely worth the read. Watching Eve and Roarke battle the truly vile of the bad is great, but watching them grow as individuals and as a couple is even better.
