The following is just about the only author information I could find (Goodreads and Barnes & Noble) on Mark McKenna:
"I am a writer living in Nanuet, New York. My work has appeared in The Poetry Warrior, Rose & Thorn Journal and three stories were featured in Ancient Paths Literary Magazine in January, 2011. One of those, The Aubade, has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. 

My novel, The Word Gang, was published by Precipitation Press in December, 2010. The Word Gang is the story of three kids in school who start using big words to be disruptive. I've posted two chapters here on Goodreads. For more information please check out the book's site shown above.

Amazon has the information you can find on McKenna's book site (www.thewordgang.com) on how he wrote the book. I found it quite interesting and a little humorous, but then I tend to be Schadenfreude. As Kalisha or Mr. Spinoza would say, "Look it up!"
